Crows attacking passers-by at Bedok North

Share

A reader of Shin Min Daily News reported seeing more than 20 crows gathering on a tree nearby coffee shop at Blk 205 Bedok North Street 1. He also saw the crows aggressively attacking people when they passed by.

According to the reader, two or three crows flew down to attack him when he walked pass and he was lucky that the attempt by the crows was not successful.

He also mentioned that he saw several members of the public using their hands to block the birds when they flew down, and some were using umbrellas as “shields” to protect themselves from the birds.

“I have been working here for almost a year, and this is the first time I have seen such a situation.” He also revealed that he saw a bird’s nest on the tree and suspected that the crows were afraid of their chicks being harmed, so they launched the attacks.”
