The Department of Statistics has numbers to show that December is the most popular month for weddings to take place.
According to the numbers, in 2016, 3,210 marriages too place in December, which made up 11.5% of the total number of marriages for the year.
December is usually picked because work typically slows down and so it’s easier for couples to take leave to get married. But while its popular, it also means couples have to vie with more couples to book a venue for their wedding banquet. Then the problem of which to friend’s wedding to attend if you’ve received multiple invitations on the same day.
