Singaporeans missed Gong Cha so much that some even started queuing since 10pm last night for its new flagship store at SingPost.

The famous bubble tea brand was only away for six months but it did not stop some 200 people waiting patiently, two hours before the shop officially opened at 12 noon.

The full original menu will not be reproduced but its bestsellers like the earl grey milk tea and milk foam Alisan tea are back on the menu.

Gong Cha lovers can also look forward to new drinks such as purple sweet potato milk tea, brown sugar fresh milk oolong and matcha with red bean. There will also be tea lattes and smoothies.

Gong Cha Singapore is now under the leadership of Mr Kang Puay Seng, the co-founder and former managing director of Mr Bean food and beverage chain.

Meanwhile, LiHO Singapore decided to roll out a new promotion 6 hours ago, after ending their “$2 Milk Tea W Pearls” promotion yesterday.

They are now offering their Earl Grey Milk Tea w Pearls at $2.20 from now till 31st December.

Well well, don’t we love competition?
