The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) responded to a fire in a multi-storey car park in Toa Payoh this morning (3 October).
3 cars were involved in the multi-storey car park located at Block 141A, Toa Payoh Lorong 2.
Two fire engines, two fire bikes, a Red Rhino and a support vehicle were deployed to the scene and the fire was extinguished using 2 compressed air foam backpacks and a hosereel. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The SCDF said that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. But news reports say that a man had tried to jump-start his car when the fire occurred.
