Train Fault on North East Line

The North East Line faced a service delay due to a train fault this afternoon (3 October).

Train operator SBS Transit posted on Twitter at 1.15pm that commuters should expect 15 minutes additional travel time.

Free bridging bus rides were made available at certain bus stops near the affected stations.

At about 2.16pm, SBS Transit posted a tweet that train services are back on regular service.

According to news reports, the delay was a result of a train that had stalled at Sengkang station which had to pushed out.
