A 14-year-old si gina who threw an ofo bicycle down from a 30 story HDB flat at 116B Jalan Tenteram has been arrested.
A video footage of the act was widely circulated on social media platform.
The bicycle was later found on the roof of the bin centre, which is the level with the second story.
It was removed by a worker from the Jalan Besar Town Council yesterday afternoon.
Police officers were seen gathering evidence on the 30th storey yesterday afternoon. said TNP
The police had received several reports about the incident and arrested the suspect on the same day after making enquiries in the neighbourhood.
The si gina was arrested for committing a rash act, if convicted he will face an imprisonment of up to 6 months, and/or a fine of up to S$2,500.
Police investigations are still currently ongoing.
