As part of NTUC FairPrice’s move to address the rising cost of children’s formula milk in Singapore, it will be priced at between S$27.50 and S$35 for a 900g tin.

“Australia’s Own” is sourced from the dairy pasture area of Gippsland, Victoria, manufactured by Freedom Foods is processed and packed in a facility that is fully HACCP certified – an internationally recognised food safety management system.

Just last month, a local brand ‘Einmilk’, owned by AE Solution launched their stage 1 to 3 formula milk. It is priced between $33 to $39 for an 800g tin and a lactose-free version is priced at $25 for 400g.

Einmilk
Einmilk is manufactured by SMC Nutrition which is a subsidiary of food manufacturer SMC Food 21. It is one of the four companies licensed to manufacture infant milk powder here.

The price of infant milk powder here has become more and more expensive over the last decade, leading the government to announce the measure to curb the hikes.
