An ang moh, presumably drunk, had injured a young child after he allegedly kicked a signage along the road which flew and landed on the child.

The accident, which took place at around 8pm yesterday (8 November) in Keong Saik Road, was filmed by a member of the public who happened to be at the scene, reported Zaobao.

When the reporter visited the area this morning, a staff working in a temple who refused to be named said that he suddenly heard someone crying outside the temple last night, so he went out to check.

“I found a child who was crying nonstop, so I took him into the temple and comforted him. They stayed for about 5 minutes and left thereafter,” said the staff.

Later, a 14-second video began circulating on the Internet.

The video shows two women with a child. And as the 4 men were passing by them, one of them suddenly kicked the signage, which was along the road, causing it to fly and hitting the child as a result.

The ang moh man then ran away on his own, while another companion was caught by one of the women who stopped him from getting away. The woman can be heard asking for his name, saying that she wanted to call the police.

However, the man didn’t care, and after picking up the sign, he continued to move forward.
