Look forward to a City in Blue on 22 March

For the first time, ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands will be supporting the sustainability cause and taking part in this initiative, in conjunction with i Light Marina Bay. Members of the public can make a pledge to conserve water at the Singapore World Water Day roadshow at the foot of The Helix bridge (near the Youth Olympic Park) at i Light Marina Bay as they enjoy the view of our city in blue.

The World Water Day is held annually on 22 March, a day designated by the United Nations to highlight the importance of water sustainability, reminding everyone that water is a critical resource we should all cherish and protect. Tomorrow marks this momentous occasion.

Locally, PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency has been collaborating with over 500 community partners to commemorate Singapore’s World Water Day with a month-long campaign, dedicated to raise awareness on water conservation. Through community events and public roadshows islandwide, PUB hopes to encourage the community to take up the ‘I Save’ Pledge, adopt the five water-saving tips, reduce their water consumption.  To date, more than 38,000 pledges have been collected.
