By 7am, around 60 people had already joined the queue, but many were told that all entry passes had been given out.

Today, the Court of Appeal will deliver its final verdict in the marathon case involving the misuse of millions of dollars of funds in City Harvest Church.

In August last year, the prosecution argued before the court that the six persons including church founder Kong Hee ought to have been convicted of the more aggravated charge of criminal breach of trust (CBT) rather than plain CBT.

If the court agrees with the prosecution’s points, then it could mean longer jail sentences for all six persons.
