Pineapple Christmas trees are the in-thing now but they can only last for a few days

Share

Have you heard of pineapple Christmas trees? They are the in-thing now.

People are ditching their traditional Christmas trees for large pineapples because of the cost and the hassle to decorate the entire tree.

In US, a real Christmas tree costs at least US$99 (S$130) and as much as US$129 (SS170).

With this amount of money, a family can buy at least 19 pineapples that are worth US$5 each.

The only downside is that the fruit can only last for a few days and if it’s not consumed, it will start to smell really bad and start to rot.

Would you consider having a Pineapple Christmas tree? Check out some of them below for some inspiration.
