The new law was passed yesterday (7 November).

And the new legal age will be subsequently raised one year at a time until it reaches 21 in 2021. This is a move to reduce the number of smokers. This means all the young Bengs can only start smoking at a later age. But since smoking is so bad for health, don’t smoke better right?

The law will allow disallow people from buying, using and owning imitation tobacco products like e-cigarettes, e-cigars and e-pipes.

Since the 1990s, the number of smokers have been reducing, and more will be done to reduce the number of smokers.
