For 4 days, 57 year old Low Ah Kay was lost in the forested area along Kranji Expressway after going to pick durians. He was last seen wearing an off-white coloured shirt, long pants and yellow boots.
His daughter Samantha said that her father had mild dementia and had previously suffered a stroke.
After he went missing, police and his family started searching for him.
His family and friends continued to search for him on Sunday at a forested area along Jurong Road. Police dogs were also deployed to search the area.
Several of Mr Low’s friends and family were outside the bush waiting for news. The search by the police went on for 12 hours beginning on Sunday from 4pm and ending on Monday at 4am.
The search resumed at 9am this morning (10 July) and police confirmed in a statement that Mr Low was found at 12pm.
According to the Straits Times, Mr Low was conveyed to Ng Teng Fong Hospital in a semi-conscious state.
