A public bus crashed into a bus stop outside Yishun MRT station today.
Bus number 85 which is operated by Go-Ahead was involved in the accident. Fortunately no one was injured in the accident and services on the route were also unaffected.
Go-Ahead said that staff were deployed to the scene to check on commuters.
A video posted on Twitter by user PardonDix showed the upper deck of the bus pierced by the roof of the bus stop.

This is the latest in a spate of incidents that has plagued Yishun in recent months.
We’re not exactly sure what happened, but maybe someone hasn’t bathed* for a while.
In a picture sent to the media, the bus’ upper windscreen was damaged by the bus stop’s roof.
*Chinese grandmothers’ tales about bad incidents happening to someone who hasn’t taken a bath.
