Are these covert Traffic Police vehicles?

Look at these cool blinkers! Are they new undercover traffic cop vehicles?

It does look legit, given the presence of what appears to be an ERP device. But then again, anyone can have these blinkers installed.

Well, no one can give you an actual answer – otherwise it wouldn’t be “covert” would it?

But what we do know, is that the Singapore Traffic Police does conduct operations in unmarked cars, though not dressed with as much bling as this. Because there really is no need to.

Here is an image of an actual, reported cop car. It is equipped with just a simple blinker, the same one that can be found on vehicles that escort Cabinet Ministers. No need for all this drama mama American type, scared-people-dunno type of lights.

Whatever it is, just drive safely lah. You no do wrong, you no scared mata.

By the way hor, driving safely doesn’t just mean no reckless driving or just drive within limits – IT ALSO MEANS KEEP OUT OF THE FAST LANE!!!
