Bus number 85 which is operated by Go-Ahead was involved in the accident. Fortunately no one was injured in the accident and services on the route were also unaffected.

Go-Ahead said that staff were deployed to the scene to check on commuters.

A video posted on Twitter by user PardonDix showed the upper deck of the bus pierced by the roof of the bus stop.

This is the latest in a spate of incidents that has plagued Yishun in recent months.
