Police arrested a 34 year old man for his suspected involvement of breaking into a pet shop in Ang Mo Kio and stealing several birds and cages.
The pet shop at Block 408 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 was broken into by the man, and was discovered to have a few birds and bird cages missing. He was arrested the same evening.
If convicted of house-breaking and theft by night, he may be jailed between 2 and 14 years and fined.
