A man was found unconscious with a severe head injury near Punggol Block 670 in the early hours of Nov 27, 2025, and his family is urgently appealing for witnesses who may have seen the suspected accident.
Update: The victim’s brother clarified that he had been riding a power-assisted bicycle (PAB), not a personal mobility device (PMD), as stated in the original post.
In a Facebook post, Marcus Lee said his brother, Li Yongqiang (transliteration), had been travelling from Punggol Marina towards Punggol Field shortly before the incident. He was later discovered lying by the roadside between 1am and 2am, unresponsive.
Marcus wrote that Li suffered a “very severe head injury” and is currently in critical condition. He remains unconscious and is receiving intensive medical treatment in the hospital.
Marcus also uploaded a photo of Li in the Intensive Care Unit, along with an image of what appears to be the bicycle found at the scene.
He appealed for anyone who may have been nearby or seen what happened:
“We would like to plead and appreciate for any eye witnesses if anyone spotted the incident. Please kindly contact me via PM.”
Anyone who was in the area or has dashcam footage from around 1am to 2am is encouraged to contact Marcus directly.
