A 56-year-old woman has died after falling from a height at Jewel Changi Airport on Thursday (October 16) afternoon.
The Singapore Police Force said they were alerted to the incident at around 1.55pm, which took place at 78 Airport Boulevard. According to Lianhe Zaobao, the woman had fallen from a high level inside Jewel Changi.
When the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived, the woman was found unconscious and was taken to Changi General Hospital. Unfortunately, she passed away shortly after.

Chief executive of Jewel Changi Airport Development Lee Ching Wern: “We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred and extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. We are working closely with the authorities to provide our full support in their investigations.”
This is not the first time such an incident has happened at in Changi Airport.
Back on March 23, 2024, a 20-year-old man was found lying on the floor near a taxi stand at Terminal 1. He was taken to Changi General Hospital in a conscious state.
