A recent community event in Tampines showed a new side of Member of Parliament Dr. Charlene Chen, who surprised many by singing a duet with popular musician Jeff Ng. Her performance has gotten a lot of attention, with people praising her singing.
A Great Duet Performance
During the event at the Tampines East Community Club, Dr. Chen sang a very difficult duet called “A Moment.” The song, originally by famous singers A-Mei and Jam Hsiao, is known for having tricky parts, especially for the female singer. Despite this, she handled the song perfectly, leaving the audience and online viewers very impressed.

In an Instagram post, Jeff Ng thanked Dr. Chen for singing with him. He said her voice was “very good” and mentioned that even though the song was “very difficult,” she managed it well. He added that she “lit up” the stage with her singing and said he would like to work with her again.
