These days, close relationships between colleagues are becoming more common, and many people even have what they call a “work husband” or “work wife.”
Recently, a Malaysian man named Jason Wong saw his Facebook post go viral after he revealed that his 10-year marriage ended in divorce due to his wife’s affair with a doctor. At the time of writing, the post had attracted more than 32,300 shares and 32,900 reactions.
According to the man, he had supported his wife wholeheartedly since the day she started working.
He sent her off for business trips and endured the loneliness of long distance. He waited for her to come home late at night, sharing her work stress and supporting her through it. Through it all, he trusted her completely and never once doubted her.
But behind his trust was long-term betrayal.
His wife had been secretly seeing a doctor, and he caught them red-handed in a BMW. He immediately confronted them and recorded the entire scene.
The man later wrote that he was not surprised that his wife fell, as she was tempted by sweet talk, false promises and money. When he uncovered the truth, he said only God knows how broken his heart was. In that moment, he felt life had lost all meaning. But when he looked at their children, he found the strength to move forward.
He ended his Facebook post by saying that he chose to move on, not because he lost, but because he loves himself and his children more. He also left a message for those who cheat:
“👉 To those who choose to cheat, remember this:
Once you throw away your dignity, people will look down on you forever.
Cheating is a choice, not a mistake. One hand alone can never clap.”

“I never thought that the person I loved so deeply, the one who slept beside me every night, would be capable of cheating.
After 10 years of marriage, my family was destroyed. Not because of poverty, not because of fights, not because we lacked quality time or understanding.
But because of an “office wife.”
Since the day she started working, I supported her in every way. I sent her off for outstation trips, endured long months of living apart, lent an ear when she was stressed, helped with her work when she was exhausted, and always waited up for her when she came home late at night. I never doubted her because I trusted her.
But all this while, she was being cared for by someone else, a married man. A so-called professional respected by society, but in reality, nothing more than a homewrecker.
I am not surprised why my wife could fall — because of sweet words, empty promises and money that blinded her eyes and heart. To the point she was willing to throw away her own dignity.
When I found out, only God knew how shattered my heart was. Life felt meaningless. But when I looked at my children, I stood up again. I warned her, I tried to endure. But even after being given another chance, she did not change. So I made up my mind to divorce. And that was the end of our 10-year marriage.
I chose to move on, not because I lost, but because I love myself and my children more.
