Singaporean actor Desmond Tan has achieved his dream before turning 40. He bought a landed property. From the photos he shared on social media, his new home appears to be a two-storey terrace house with a lush green lawn in front.
On his 39th birthday on August 19, he posted a picture of himself making a wish in front of a small cake with candles, writing, “This birthday, my heart is so full it can hardly contain it. I never imagined that one day I would own a piece of land in Singapore, a landed property for my family.”
He added that there is still a lot of work to be done on the house, and he cannot wait to transform it into a truly special place, hinting that he is busy with renovations.
In a heartfelt note, he wrote, “Life is really amazing. The child who once pressed his face against a car window, enviously looking at houses he thought only ‘belonged to others,’ has now finally received the keys to his own. This is not just a house made of bricks and walls. It represents every moment of ‘I can’t’ turning into ‘I can,’ and every prayer being answered one by one.”

He wrapped up his post by saying, “A perfect birthday spent with family. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, flowers, gifts and champagne.” Soon after, fans filled the comments with their warm wishes and congratulations.
