Car Flips Over on ECP, Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries

Police Investigate Still Road South Accident After Car Skids and Overturns

On Sunday, August 3, a car flipped over on Still Road South as it was heading towards the East Coast Parkway (ECP). The police believe the accident happened around 12:50 PM because the car “self-skidded.”

Photos and videos of the scene were posted on the ROADS.sg Facebook page. They showed a black car upside down on the grassy area right next to the expressway. The driver’s door was open, but no one could be seen standing near the car in the videos.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) was called to the accident at about the same time. They confirmed that only one car was involved. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) also responded and checked on one person for minor injuries. That person, however, chose not to go to the hospital.

The driver of the car, a 59-year-old man, is now helping the police with their investigation. The investigation is still ongoing.
