In his post, Addy wrote:
“忘恩负义你回复联合早报我现在也来回复你… 我只用半小时时间讲和Q&A”
(Translation: “You responded to Zaobao, now it’s my turn… I only need 30 minutes to talk and answer questions.”)
He also pointed out the timeline of Quan’s actions:
“为何你要走？走了又去开直播才播？为什么？”
(“Why did you leave, only to go live yourself later? Why?”)

Alongside his post, Addy included a two-part WeChat message he claimed to have sent to Quan.
In the messages, he addressed her as “Sis” and expressed emotional distress over how their friendship had deteriorated. He described feeling helpless and humiliated:
“我50岁从来没有给人这么当众侮辱… 我一直当家人的这样对我。”
(“In my 50 years, I’ve never been so publicly humiliated. I’ve always treated you like family.”)
He went on to say he had lost sleep trying to do his best and felt hurt when Quan shut him out during their final livestream session.

(“Have you ever thought about how I felt? I’m still someone who values relationships.”)
Never Wanted to Harm Quan or Quan’s Family
In a final line from his message, Addy defended his character:
“我不会骗到这样来伤害你们，我也不会来害你们家人。”
(“I wouldn’t stoop so low to harm you or your family.”)
He ended by promising to address questions from followers during his upcoming livestream, including why Quan left, why she went live afterwards, and why she stopped replying to him altogether.
