FairPrice Group Introduces 50-Cent Coffee Deal at Kopitiam Outlets and 50% Discounts for Members

Exclusive Savings for NTUC Union and Link Members with FairPrice Group's Latest Promotion for May Day Celebrations

FairPrice Group recently announced a series of exciting deals and discounts to commemorate the upcoming May Day celebrations and Singapore’s 60th year of independence (SG60).

From April 24 to May 18, NTUC Union members and Link members are in for a treat as FairPrice Group offers substantial savings across its supermarkets. Additionally, selected Kopitiam outlets will also be part of the promotion from May 1 to May 31.

In an official statement released on April 24, FairPrice Group highlighted its commitment to providing over $5 million in savings for members by the year 2025, the largest amount pledged by the group for its annual May Day campaign.

During the campaign period, customers can benefit from significant discounts on essential products and staple beverages at selected Kopitiam outlets, allowing them to make their dollars go further.

The group’s spokesperson mentioned, “Customers can further enhance their savings by combining May Day discounts with FairPrice Group’s regular weekly discounts for seniors, Merdeka or Pioneer Generation individuals, and Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) Blue or Orange card holders.” This initiative aims to ensure that a wide range of consumers can enjoy the benefits of the promotions.

NTUC Union and Link members will be treated to weekly deals, with a 50% discount on a new essential item every Thursday for four weeks, both in-store and online. The initial week’s offer includes the popular Milo Ready To Drink tetra pack drink (24 x 200ml) at a special price of $7.80, compared to its usual price of $15.60, with a limit of two units per item per member per day.

To access the discounts, customers are required to present their physical Link Rewards or NTUC Union card at checkout or make payment via the FairPrice Group’s app. Moving forward, subsequent promotions will be announced on May 1, May 8, and May 15.

Moreover, a partnership between FairPrice Foundation and Kopitiam will revive the fan-favourite 50-cent hot kopi or teh deal at 70 Kopitiam outlets across the island from May 1 to 31. Customers can enjoy this special offer by presenting their physical NTUC Union silver card or using the e-voucher and making payment through the FairPrice Group’s app at checkout.

Vipul Chawla, CEO of FairPrice Group, expressed the organization’s dedication to providing daily essentials at accessible prices for all consumers. He emphasized, “Our discounts are a way of giving back, ensuring that all in Singapore can access daily essentials and lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.”

Caryn Lim, the National Trades Union Congress assistant secretary-general and May Day committee chairwoman, encouraged members to take full advantage of the discounts to alleviate daily expenses. FairPrice Group has already launched several SG60 initiatives since the beginning of the year to help Singaporeans stretch their dollar further.
