Sembawang Secondary School Boy Thrown Into Bin and Kicked by Schoolmates While Others Watch and Laugh

A boy wearing a red Sembawang Secondary School PE uniform was seen sitting inside a rubbish bin, while several other male students pushed, kicked, and hit the bin back and forth. Although the boy looked uncomfortable, he did not fight back during the incident.

In the end, one student kicked the bin so hard that it fell over, causing the boy inside to tumble out and hit the ground. Around them, at least ten other students stood watching. Some were laughing, and one even took out a phone to record the scene.

After the video was shared online, many people expressed concern. Netizens pointed out that the boy seemed unwilling to take part and may have been bullied. Others said that even if it was meant as a joke among friends, the actions went too far. Many felt the school should take action.

In response to questions from Shin Min Daily News, Sembawang Secondary School confirmed they are aware of the incident.

A school spokesperson said: “We take the safety and well-being of our students very seriously and do not tolerate any form of harmful behaviour. The students involved have been counselled and, depending on the situation, the students may face disciplinary action to help them learn from the incident. We have also spoken to the affected student’s parents.”
