Workers’ Party Chair Sylvia Lim is set to get married to former national footballer Quah Kim Song this coming January, bringing forth a heartwarming love story that has captured the attention of many.

Reportedly, the couple, who have been together for nearly 12 years, will exchange vows in a church surrounded by their closest family members.

Sylvia Lim, a prominent figure in Singapore’s political scene, has held the position of WP chair since 2003. She made history as part of the first opposition team to claim victory in a Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in 2011 and has continued to serve as a member of parliament for Aljunied GRC.

On the other side, Quah Kim Song, 72, is known for his remarkable contributions to Singaporean football. As a former national footballer, he played an instrumental role in Singapore’s 1977 Malaysia Cup triumph, leaving an indelible mark on the nation’s sporting history.

The love story between Sylvia Lim and Quah Kim Song first blossomed in 2013 when they crossed paths at a Workers’ Party variety show, sparking a connection that has endured through the years.
