This news is getting out of hand as Alice Chang, a woman from Malaysia, found herself in yet another controversy after being dismissed from Nando’s Malaysia on her first day of work. This incident comes after she caused a stir at Auntie Anne’s outlet by kissing pretzel dough and trying to apply for a part-time job at Cold Stone Creamery.
Chang, who just gained notoriety for her actions at Auntie Anne’s, was fired by Nando’s Malaysia for violating company policies. According to Mothership, her dismissal stemmed from posting photos online, including confidential areas of the restaurant, during her first shift, which breached protocol.
In response to the termination, Nando’s Malaysia released a statement appreciating public vigilance while ensuring that necessary precautions were taken, such as deep cleaning the outlet.
Chang, however, took to social media to taunt her former employer, claiming that she had given them free publicity.
Chang’s erratic employment history also includes a brief stint at a Cold Stone Creamery outlet and a short-lived position at a McDonald’s outlet. Her time at the latter was marred by allegations of sexual assault, leading to a police report being lodged by the outlet’s manager.
Despite the controversies surrounding her employment and conduct, Chang remains unapologetic and seeks employment from other potential employers, promising them significant publicity.
