New year new set of Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers, HUAT AH!
From 3 January 2024 onwards, every Singaporean household can claim $500 worth of CDC Vouchers to help them to manage the rising cost of living. This initiative is also to support the local hawkers and the heartland businesses.
If you remember, last year in January 2023, the Gahmen also got give out CDC vouchers. But that time they only gave $300. This time, they are giving $500. $200 more!
Tia gong the claim and spend rates of the scheme in 2023 was 97.7%! Which goes to show that it’s really very helpful bah. So many people utilising it.
And as usual, the 2024 CDC Vouchers have been allocated equally. That means hor, half of the CDC Vouchers you can use at participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and another the $250 you can use to buy things at participating supermarkets.

And remember ah, the CDC Vouchers 2024 will be valid till 31 December 2024 only. If you want to claim it digitally, also can. Just need to go https://go.gov.sg/cdcv to claim it. So simple! But just take note lah. Only one member of each household will need to go to the website and login with his/her Singpass account to claim the CDC Vouchers 2024 on behalf of their household. No need whole village go and login ok.
Besides the CDC vouchers, there will also be other schemes that the Gahmen will be pushing out to help Singaporeans alleviate the rising cost of living. Like the additional one-off 0.5-month service and conservancy charges (S&CC), and also got the additional U-Save rebates.
Bo bian, the rising cost of living issue is not just a Singapore’s problem but a worldwide issue. What we can do hor is to spend within our limits and make the most out of all these Gahmen schemes and initiatives!
