Singapore actor Aloysius Pang was seriously injured on 19 Jan, while participating in an overseas military exercise in NewZealand.
On 20 Jan, the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) confirmed that Aloysius was hurt while repairing a Singapore Self-propelledHowitzer. Investigation of the cause of the accident is still ongoing.
Corporal First Class (National Service) Pang was heli-evacuated to Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand, where he underwent a 5-hour surgery. He is currently monitored in the high dependency unit.
His family members are flying over to New Zealand to visit CFC (NS) Pang.
