In Daegu, South Korea, a woman driving a luxury car threw a bunch of cash out of her car window.
According to the Daegu Bukbu Police Station, at around 7:30 am on 19 July, a woman who appears to be in her 40s, was driving around the E-Mart supermarket parking lot in her black luxury car as she threw a bunch of cash out of her car window.
The police arrived at the scene and collected around 3 million Korean Won (SGD $3,620) from the parking lot. They were mostly 50,000 Korean Won bills. There were also 10,000 Korean Won and 5,000 Korean Won bills.
It was revealed by the police that the woman drove around 11 different places in Daegu between 7:25 am to 8:00 am and threw a bunch of cash out her window each time.
With the help of commuters and passerby, the police managed to retrieve a total of 15.57 million Korean Won (SGD $18,793) from the streets.
Police are in the midst of searching for the woman and are planning to investigate the identity of the woman and the reason behind her actions.
