A 27-year-old Indonesian domestic helper slipped and fell from the window ledge while cleaning the window.
This happened at the third storey of Block 233, Simei Street 4 yesterday morning.
She was cleaning the window with one foot on the window ledge and the other foot on a bamboo pole.
The bamboo pole then collapsed and the domestic helper slipped.
Thankfully, a male resident on the second storey managed to catch her and grab hold of her hair but he could not hold onto her for long.
The lady appeared half undressed in photos because her shirt gave way and slipped off from her body.
A 63-year-old elderly man reportedly helped to cushion her fall on the first floor. Both of them were conveyed to Changi General Hospital in a conscious state.
The domestic helper appeared to have suffered serious injuries.
