The Police have arrested a 48-years-old man who is believed to be involved in a case of Snatch Theft at along Jalan Limau Kasturi.
On 20 March 2018, an 84-year-old victim reported to the Police that a man had snatched her purse. Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him on 21 March 2018.
The suspect will be charged in State Courts on 22 March 2018 with an offence of Snatch Theft under Section 356 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries an imprisonment term of not less than one year and not more than 7 years, and shall also be liable to caning.
