Parents, please take note.
A two-year-old girl in Hong Kong died after she choked on a grape at home. The paramedics reached the girl’s home in Tsing Yi at about 8.30pm but she was already unconscious.
She was pronounced dead in Princess Margaret hospital.
This was the second similar incident which happened within two months in Hong Kong. An eight-year-old student choked on a cuttlefish ball she bought in school and collapsed at her school playground.
She reportedly rushed to swallow the cuttlefish ball after the school bell rang and signaled for students to return to class. The girl died after being in hospital for 26 days.
Netizens reminded parents to cut the grapes into small pieces before feeding their toddlers.
