Pin-hole camera disguised as a hook in NTU toilet, positioned at same level as toilet bowl

A pinhole camera disguised as a hook was found in a handicapped toilet in NTU’s School of Humanities and School of Social Sciences.

The camera was supposedly hidden inside a hook that was attached to the toilet door. It was positioned at the same level as the toilet bowl.

The reports did not state how long the hook was there before it was reported as a suspicious item but hanging the air freshener pack on the hook probably made it look less suspicious.

The camera was reportedly found by a female printing service contractor. There was a memory card in the camera but it’s unclear, at this point in time, if there were any pictures of videos stored inside.

A cleaner at the school said the lady rushed up to him to inform him that someone installed a camera in the handicapped toilet.

The lady reportedly also said the hook was previously not in the toilet. She thought it was unusual and asked someone to call the police.

The police is currently investigating the matter.
