Two women and a 45-year-old man arrested in an Anti-Vice Operation

The Police conducted an anti-vice operation along Middle Road and Balestier Road on 26 February 2018.

During the operation, a 45-year-old man and two women, aged 27 and 30, were arrested for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities. In a statement released by the Singapore Police Force.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the women had advertised their sexual services on websites and were operating from hotels in Middle Road and Balestier Road.

The man is believed to be the one managing their vice activities. Investigations are ongoing.

Under the Women’s Charter, any person who knowingly lives wholly or in part on the earnings of the prostitution of another person shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years and shall also be liable to a fine not exceeding $10,000.

The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against those who are involved in such illegal activities. Anyone found assisting in vice activities in any way will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
