What would you do if you’re 2 months away from your wedding and you found out that your venue has not been booked? And the vendor has not proven to be reliable?
A reader wrote to us to share her unpleasant experience with “For You Wedding services”.
She and her husband placed a deposit of $3,600 in 2016 and have not gotten back their deposit after more than one and a half years.
The wedding service provider, For You Wedding Services, was recommended by her husband’s sister so the couple decided to engage them since the company had positive reviews on their Facebook.
However, two months to their wedding, the wedding company did not meet up with the couple and did not arrange a date for food tasting.
She also found out that the company did not book the ballroom at Republic of Singapore Yacht Club (RSYC) for them when she personally called up RSYC to check with them.
They filed a police report and went to CASE but the authorities could not really help them.
