A video of a woman almost completely submerged in a ball pit which was suspended in the air has gone viral.
The suspended ball pit is part of Airzone which recently opened at City Square Mall.
According to the woman, who is a parent blogger together with her husband, she accompanied her son into one of pits which was filled with balls.
But while inside the pit, she lost her balance and fell backwards. she was unable to stand up on the netting as a result and she started to shout for help.
In the video, she can be heard shouting and waving her arms for a while before she could stabilise herself with the help of someone else.
She wrote in her Facebook post that the purpose of her writing her experience in the post is to appeal for more adult supervision:
“There is a certain level of danger in the playground and there is only so much the staff there can do. I appeal for you to go in with your kids. The more adults there is inside, you can help watch out for other kids”
Anyway, Airzone responded to her Facebook post and assured that they will take in customers’ recommendations and review the number of balls included in the pit.
Moral of the story: Please make sure an adult is present when your child plays at Airzone.
