Last Sunday, a 60 year old man was arrested at a coffee shop in Eunos for waving a chopper.
The police were alerted to the incident which happened at Block 7 Eunos Crescent at about 7pm on Sunday.
Besides being arrested for possession of a weapon in a public place, he was also arrested for suspected drug-related offences, said the police.
A video that was circulating on Facebook showed the man shouting and taunting police and coffee shop customers before he was pinned down by the police personnel.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the man placed the chopper in a plastic bag and left it around the coffee shop area. The weapon was recovered by the police.
