A China man looking for a replacement battery for his iPhone probably needed to find a new phone altogether when his phone exploded.
The reason for the explosion: he bit on his phone.
A video of the incident went viral on social media on Tuesday (23 January).
Footage from the store’s CCTV showed the man biting on the phone before it exploded.
NO one was injured in the incident, but many were obviously shocked.
No one knows why the man decided to bit on the battery, but some speculated that he may been trying to verify the battery’s authenticity.
