Police found the body of a 65 year old man at about 9pm.

A neighbour next door alerted the deceased’s sister when he didn’t see the deceased for a week or so.

The deceased lived alone with a dog.

According to the neighbour, the man was working as a chief steward with Singapore Airlines and had just retired half a year ago.

The man was known to be helpful and a “great” animal lover who feeds every stray cat in the neighbourhood

He and his neighbour were good friends and would share leftover meals with each other.

The deceased’s family members called the police, who accessed the house with the help of a locksmith. That was when they found the man lying on the floor near the door.
