Singaporeans saw the first train fault for 2018 between Tanah Merah and Changi Airpot MRT stations this morning.
And the train fault happened twice.
SMRT first advised commuters to add additional 30 minutes to their travel time at 5.49am. At 7.17am, SMRT said that the fault had cleared.
But less than an hour later, the fault recurred.
SMRT announced at 9am that the fault had been cleared and train services had resumed.
This is the first train fault for 2018. Limpeh really hopes we will see lesser train delays this year.
Don’t forget that there will be changes to train operation timings for the East-West Line this month.
