Within a week, there are two cases of drivers who crash their cars into drains in Singapore.
Last Wednesday (13 December), a woman was taken to the National University Hospital after she drove her car into a drain along Bukit Timah Road.
According to the Straits Times, the lady lost control of her vehicle and mounted the kerb before landing in the drain.
Just yesterday (18 December) another car crashed into a drain near Geylang. However the driver abandoned his car after the accident and the authorities are still trying to contact the vehicle owner.
The police is investigating the accident.
