Japanese holographic virtual girlfriend “Azuma Hikari” can welcome you back home after work

Share

The Japanese are really good at making useful robots. This time, they’ve done it again.

They’ve created a holographic female virtual character that performs even better than Siri.

Meet Azuma Hikari, a pretty anime character that can interact with you like your personal secretary/girlfriend.

She can recognise your face and your voice because of the sensors on the exteriors of the gadget.

Here’s what she can do:

  • Wake you up in the morning with her sweet voice
  • Remind you of things to remember (i.e. to bring an umbrella if she predicts it will rain)
  • Cheers you on at work
  • Reminds you to come home early
  • Welcomes you back home after work by turning on the lights and air-con before you reach home
  • Accompanies you to drink a hot cup of beverage
  • Wishes you a good night rest

She’s 20 years old and enjoys watching anime and eating donuts but she dislikes insects. Her dream is to become a heroine for a hardworking person.

Right now, she can only speak Japanese but she’s improving on her language skills.

You can get it for $2,700.
