The school will train and certify e-commerce talents around Asia, starting with Singapore. It will roll out digital e-commerce courses in countries under China’s Belt and Road Initiative in order to link China with Asia, Africa and Europe through routes over land and sea.

Alibaba and Nanyang International will be providing the trainers and curriculum, while e2i and LearningHub  will run the courses within their premises.

Participants will be learning about e-commerce business models and platforms, online retailing and digital marketing.

What’s interesting is that the public can sign up for courses according to their needs and competency. They can also skip some of the introductory courses if they do not need them.

After the course, participants will get certification from the Alibaba college.
