Yesterday night (21 November), the AVA posted on its Facebook page that durians in Singapore are safe to eat.

It said:

“As part of our food safety programme, AVA regularly inspects and conducts sampling of imported fruits, including durians, to ensure that they comply with our food safety standard and requirements.”
