Check-in was postponed from 6pm to 8pm and boarding was delayed from 9pm to 9.45pm. According to passengers, the reasons for the delay were not clear.

Some passengers had posted some photos on social media which showed long queues and chaos at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

Yesterday’s cruise trip was supposed to be Genting Dream’s third cruise since making Singapore its home port. Last week, it first set sailed on Thursday at 8pm on a one-night cruise before embarking on a three-night opening party cruise to Phuket.

According to Facebook users, the first trip also encountered delays. A passenger had to wait for more than 2 hours to register at the cruise centre before the ship departed.
