A truck was carrying an excavator and it was approaching the KPE tunnel from Sims Ave when this incident.
According to Land Transport Authority, this took place last month on 28 September at around 10am.
A video circulating on WhatsApp showed the truck entering the tunnel when it exceeded the height limit and the excavator toppled over.
This was captured by the in-car camera from the vehicle behind the truck.
Thankfully, there were no motorcyclists.
While there were no injuries reported, this video serves as a serious reminder to all drivers who love to tailgate other vehicles.
For your own safety, please do not tailgate on the road as your life may be at risk.
Light-good vehicles like lorries and trucks should be mindful of height limits when approaching underground tunnels and carparks.
