According to the Singapore Police Force, victims had made several police reports between August to October after they were denied entry into the Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights event. They had bought the discounted tickets online.

Three of the 10 suspects apparently told police that they were coerced into selling the fake tickets.

For giving false information to a public servant, they can be jailed up to a year and/or fined up to $5,000.
