Police have detained two foreign men for questioning this morning (4 October) at Bishan MRT depot.
According to media reports, the two men boarded a shuttle bus ferrying SMRT staff into the depot. But the two were stopped at the security gantry when they were found not to have authorised entry passes.
The two men then started using their cameras at the gate to take photos of the place.
Security personnel then detained the two men and handed them over to the police.
Three patrol cars were at the scene, and up to 10 police and security personnel were surrounding the two men.
For about half an hour, the police questioned the two men just outside the security gate, before they were led into the security guardhouse.
As at 12.30pm, no arrests have been made yet.
